I’m a student that joined Winners near the end of J1 year after achieving an S in my Chemistry promos in J1. Initially I was more worried that maybe joining this late would have been too much of a late start and that my Chem results were beyond saving but that was not the case.
I was pleasantly surprised at how engaging and effective Mr Chua’s lessons were, as well as how concise and simple the materials were.
Within 2 months, I saw a jump in my Chemistry grades from S to C in my next block test in January.
Into J2, my grades increased gradually until I hit a B in my prelims and finally an A in my A levels.
I would say that the way Mr Chua teaches is really what helped me to learn and improve super fast. He is very encouraging and enthusiastic about Chemistry itself and his use of analogies and anecdotes in class really helped me to understand harder concepts. Moreover, I feel like it was not difficult at all to manage workload for Mr Chua’s class on top of school work.
I definitely recommend Winners Education to any student who feels like that their Chemistry needs help. As long as you listen to Mr Chua and work hard, getting A is definitely not impossible!
